It’s that time of year again. When little ghosts, goblins, Marvel superheroes, or Disney characters, to name a few, come rapping at your door.
In Wellington and Wichita, Kansas, folks have tacky lights up outside their homes, spider webbing across their bushes, and giant spiders or ghoulish figures in their front yards, in celebration of one of the most evil days of the year.
Stores are filled with varieties of candies, cookies, cupcakes, and decorations. Granted, the fall colors of orange and black are nice; the familiar sites of pumpkins and gourds a welcome site. But all-in-all, it is the Halloween items that are most disturbing. Yes, it all looks happy and fun. Yet, in truth, it is not.
Halloween is a witches holiday (holy day), the second biggest holiday for them. Their number one holiday is in May, Beltane (May Day).
Halloween is a holiday that has been demonic since its inception, and its practice is condemned by God. It has never been a day of innocent fun for children, despite what some may think.
Halloween is, in fact, the Devil’s day. And no believer in Christ should support such a Satanic holiday.
Just because everybody else celebrates it, that doesn’t mean it is okay in God’s eyes. If you are a true believer in Christ, then you must put away the celebration of such evil. Stand firm for what you believe. Practicing Halloween is idolatry, pure and simple. And it is a pagan holiday, based on pagan traditions.
Halloween is not a holy day for everyone; only for witches and the like. “There is absolutely no way you can redeem Halloween for God’s glory, to make it holy unto the Lord,” says David Stewart, of www.jesusissavior.com.
“Those who profess to know Jesus and who don’t see Halloween as pagan are either carnal believers or are not saved at all.
“Professed Christians are not to try and Christianize Halloween. Believers are to set the standard, not imitate the world.”
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” (Ephesians 5:11 KJV)
“Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.” (1 Corinthians 10: 21 KJV)
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft…” (Galatians 5: 19, 20 KJV)
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” (2 Corinthians 6: 17 KJV)
