THESE ARE MUST-SEE VIDEOS.

IN 2008, WHEN I MOVED TO KANSAS, THE LORD TOLD ME THAT THE HAMMER WAS GOING TO FALL SOON.

WAKE UP, AMERICA!!  WAKE UP, WORLD!!  YOU SHALL NOT ESCAPE THE COMING TRIBULATION!!

This is a shocking, award-winning documentary that everyone should watch.

DO YOURSELF NO HARM

“Suicide is the eleventh most common cause of death in the United States. People may consider suicide when they are hopeless and can’t see any other solution to their problems. Often it’s related to serious depression, alcohol or substance abuse, or a major stressful event.

“People who have the highest risk of suicide are white men. But women and teens report more suicide attempts. If someone talks about suicide, you should take it seriously. Urge them to get help from their doctor or the emergency room, or call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). It is available 24/7.

“Therapy and medicines can help most people who have suicidal thoughts. Treating mental illnesses and substance abuse can reduce the risk of suicide.”

“NIH: National Institute of Mental Health” http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/suicide.html

LIFE IS A GIFT FROM GOD

It is a sad, tragic thing when someone believes there is no hope and decides to end his/her life. Little do many realize that such an act is not only selfish, but self-centered as well. Especially when a parent chooses suicide over remaining alive for his/her children’s sakes. Or if a spouse decides to leave a mate alone because he/she chooses not to continue through life. Such weakness is often a coward’s way out. But what people must realize overall is that suicidal thoughts come from SATAN, from the evil spirit of suicidal thoughts.

Yet there are circumstances where some may not have had a choice, at least by their way of thinking. If they were being persecuted or tortured and could no longer endure the pain or horror of it. Or during certain wars where soldiers may have found it safer to end their lives if captured, rather than suffer through torture and interrogation by the enemy. Only God knows whether these individuals would gain entrance to heaven, especially if they were believers. However, not once in Scripture does it say that God’s people ever committed suicide to avoid suffering or persecution.

MENTAL ILLNESS AND DEPRESSION

Mental illness can often lead to suicide, perhaps because a person’s suffering is great or he/she is confused. Perhaps someone just doesn’t know any better. Often the influence of certain drugs or medications, particularly antidepressants, can lead to a perfectly sane person ending his or her life. But you must understand that mental illness and things related thereto are ALL of SATAN. At least that is my belief. God does permit it, however, for whatever reason. And perhaps mental illness may be related to generational curses on the family of someone with mental illness, which need to be removed. Also, many diseases are caused by evil spirits, from which many can be delivered. But there are many who believe that mental illness is natural and only some of it caused by demons. Either way, the end result is the same. Mental illness and/or demons can drive a person to commit suicide.

“Some people who end their lives or attempt suicide might be trying to escape feelings of rejection, hurt, or loss. Others might be angry, ashamed, or guilty about something. Some people may be worried about disappointing friends or family members. And some may feel unwanted, unloved, victimized, or like they’re a burden to others.” http://kidshealth.org/teen/your_mind/mental_health/suicide.html

Personally, I know of a young woman, a friend, who was the sweetest, kindest, gentlest woman I’d ever known, whose life ended tragically. She was a Christian who ended up in a psychiatric unit, where she later hung herself. I cannot, unfortunately, know how the Lord would deal with such a person in the afterlife. A Christian who suffered to the point of suicide. It was a tragic, extremely sad event that few can never understand. I think that, perhaps, she was being tormented and confused by the Adversary for so long that she just lost it and ended her life. I think she felt helpless and victimized by life’s circumstances, over which she had no control.

SUICIDE IS NOT OF GOD

Now Satan is a powerful foe and seeks to kill all of mankind, especially God’s people. Just look how Adolph Hitler wiped out thousands of Jews during World War II. In the end, he took his own life because he didn’t want to face up to what he had done once the Allies gained the victory. Ultimately, he was a coward…and a dead one at that.

What people need to understand is that SATAN is behind all suicidal thoughts and the temptation to commit suicide. SUICIDE IS NOT OF GOD. IT IS NOT HIS WILL THAT A PERSON TAKE HIS OR HER LIFE. LIFE IS A GIFT, AND ONLY GOD CAN TAKE AWAY THAT GIFT.

The Adversary – SATAN – often uses other people, situations, circumstances, media, all sorts of things to twist the Truth and mentally and physically torment and confuse people. He is good at convincing people that they are worthless and useless, that no one loves them. He tells people that no matter what they do, they are losers and will never be accepted or liked by others. That they are ugly or fat. That they are stupid or twisted in their thinking. SATAN does all sorts of things to bring a person down. The evil spirit of depression is one of the worst. This spirit plays on people’s fears and emotions, often to the point of having to use medication to suppress them or, ultimately, to convince a person to take his/her life.

According to http://nmha.org (Mental Health America): “The most common underlying disorder is depression [and] 30% to 70% of suicide victims suffer from major depression or bipolar (manic-depressive) disorder.”

GOD MADE YOU SPECIAL

People, you must understand. GOD LOVES YOU. He would never tell you that you are worthless or unloved. You are special in His eyes. He has created you to be exactly who you are. You are made in His image. If you are being tormented by negativity or evil thoughts or other forms of torment, then please seek out a deliverance minister who can cast these evil spirits from you and pray for you. There are also therapists, other pastors or Christians, suicide hotlines, or friends and family members who can help you. And never forget that God is just a prayer away. He will listen when you ask for His help and guide you from there.

Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life. Once you are born of God, of His Spirit, your soul is free from the enemy’s penetration. You may be oppressed by spirits in your body and mind, but SATAN cannot permeate your soul. You are protected by the Holy Spirit of God.

THE BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND

The mind is the enemy’s battlefield. It is there he attacks you. Christians are no different. Which is why the Lord tells us in His Word to be renewed in our minds. (Romans 12:2) We must continually keep our focus on God and all things pure and holy and lovely. (Philippians 4:8) We must take authority over all the evil spirits that try and attack our thoughts. Many do not realize what is happening and allow themselves to be swayed by the enemy. Many people do not trust God as they should and allow SATAN to torment them to the point of suicide. THIS MUST NOT BE.

If a person takes his/her life, it means SATAN has won. He gloats in triumph, knowing that he has convinced someone to turn away from the GOD that he hates and take a precious life, meant for GOD’s service, His Glory. SUICIDE IS NOT OF GOD. IT IS A SIN AGAINST GOD. ONLY GOD HAS A RIGHT TO TAKE YOUR LIFE AWAY. HE HAS A PLAN FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US. HIS PLAN IS FOR US TO LIVE, TO HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE…AND TO BE HAPPY.

GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE

Suicide is a dark place that no one should ever turn to. It means possible, everlasting darkness in the pits of hell. Once you turn away from God because you didn’t trust Him enough to see you through whatever storm you are facing or going through, then you may be forever lost. Because of SATAN and for no other reason.

DON’T THINK YOUR TORMENT WILL END BY COMMITTING SUICIDE. HELL IS A PLACE OF EVERLASTING TORMENT. WOULD YOU REALLY WANT TO ESCAPE LIFE’S PROBLEMS TO FACE THE TORMENTING, BLAZING FIRES OF HELL? THERE IS NO ESCAPE FROM THERE, ONCE YOU BECOME A CITIZEN.

SATAN wants to take you out of this world so that you will not fulfill the plan GOD has for you. God created you. Only He can decide when it is your time to go. You must not let the enemy win. You must stand firm on GOD’s Truth and strengthen your heart through prayer and the reading of GOD’s Word. It is through weakness and vulnerability the enemy wins. You must put on the full armour of GOD – daily – in order to stand against the enemy’s wiles. In this way, you will triumph over SATAN and not SATAN over you.

“Or do you not know that your temple is the body of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

“For you were bought at a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

(1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 KJV)

Steaming forth from the blazing buckets of hell,
Myriads of black, scorched, scaly arms flailing, poking through the clouds and smoke,
A sight disgusting, nauseating, fascinating, to human eyes,
As hands reach and claw their way toward Heaven,
Yet hopeless in their search,
To be free from the bowels of putrid evil and fear sucking them backwards,
Into the darkness, into the pit, into the nights of tormenting forever.

No relief, no freedom for the wicked,
From the abominations of Hell,
He saw to that,
When He created Hades.
God.

A fiery pit of creative, endless terrors and never-ending pain and suffering,
A place for the Adversary and his angels,
But never for us,
Unless we choose,
An eternity without Him.
All opportunities revoked,
And no last minute warnings.

No breath of fresh air,
No cooling drink,
No hope for life…or rescue.

Only loneliness, aloneness, fear, and pain,
As snaking flames envelope the citizens of the pit –
Burning, piercing, protruding, pounding, emanating, invading every crevice of the flesh,
With a disgusting, heart-rending, sulphur-filled stench to overwhelm the senses…always.

A scalding, searing reality for the wicked,
For those who deny Him,
For those who hate Him.
For those who choose a forever without Him.

‘Tis fitting, the punishment.

Abominable, repugnant, misshapen creatures of darkness, overwhelming and terrifying in stature,
Behemoths, gargantuans, stronger than any human can imagine…or defeat.

Deep caverns of foulness,
Of bottomless, enveloping, stifling, pitch blackness,
Such as one can never conceive.
No light at all…forever.

And endless torture,
By demons of old,
Enjoying your pain, your suffering.
How they marvel at your screams,
Your shouting for a God who no longer hears…or listens…or cares.
Just like you did once,
When He called and beckoned to you.
But you ignored Him.

So you gave it all up.
Beauty,
And joy,
And dreams fulfilled.

You chose:
Only evil;
Only ugliness;
Only foulness;
And terror beyond imagination.

A picturesque abomination,
For those who choose it.

A recent trip brought with it many surprises for this writer, one she should have been more careful to avoid.

The enemy knows us as intimately as God and knows what buttons to push to bring out the worst in us. That is what happens when Christians are unequally yoked with unbelievers. Since unbelievers choose to go against God and His law, that allows them freedom to commit any evil because they do not believe they will be punished for it later.

One thing readily observed is the self-centeredness, self-serving desires unbelievers have, and the strong desire to be in control. They may not see it or realize how evil the behavior is that is being demonstrated, but a Christian will be up against a wall of difficulty that would never be there were Jesus in the center of the relationship between the two. Instead, there is a battle of good versus evil.

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 (NKJV) says: “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?… Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?…For you are the temple of the living God…My people. Therefore ‘Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord…”

Unequal yoking often occurs in marriage. The above passage states that believers in Christ should avoid marrying an unbeliever, although it happens all the time. Our hearts do not always direct us accordingly, nor do we always follow Jesus the way we should. If we did, we might avoid all sorts of problems.

Hanging with unbelievers does not enrich our lives. In fact, 1 Corinthians 15:33 (NKJV) says “Do not be deceived: ‘Evil company corrupts good habits.’”

Therefore, we should take great care to avoid bad company. Since the Holy Spirit is what sets Christians apart from the ungodly, we are warned to stay away from those who would corrupt us.

Matthew 5:13 (NKJV) reads, “You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”

What could a believer and an unbeliever possibly have in common anyways?

Women Can Rock The World

The Wichita chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) met on Saturday, March 12, 2011 to discuss “Religion from a Woman’s Perspective”, at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Wichita at 7202 East 21st Street.

Present on the “Panel to Promote Understanding” was Del Smith, a Soto Zen Buddhist, Mary McDonough Harren, a Catholic, Sarah March, a Christian and Associate Pastor of College Hill United Methodist Church in Wichita, Stacy Steidman, a Druid, and Donna Sibaai, a Muslim and coordinator for the American Muslim Women’s Association, and Kathy Hull, a Wiccan.

Each of the panel members spoke about their various beliefs, sharing why they had chosen their distinct paths, and where they were headed for the future. It was an interesting afternoon, and the question-and-answer period was very thought-provoking.

As each panelist discussed their unique perspectives, there came one common theme among them: Women must stand up and say something, standing firm on what they believe in. Women must quit being quiet because that’s what everyone expects them to be. In a male-dominated society, this is often difficult. Even in the 21st century, women are still struggling to break through glass ceilings.

As one panelist pointed out, history was written by men. Thus, his-story came about, not her-story. Today, that terminology should be changed to our-story. The world is about women as well as men. If women remain silent about their beliefs or what they feel needs to be changed in today’s world, nothing will change.

Biblically, there is a definite place for women in leadership. But women are allowed these roles outside of the church. Women can have their own ministries, teaching other women and children. Only men are to be leaders of a church because they alone are to teach their flock. Women are not to teach men, especially inside the church. They can make suggestions as regards something related to women or children, but that is all.

There is nothing wrong with women standing up for themselves. God can use them as well as any man. They just need to remember the marriage model ordained for us to follow: Men are the head; women are to be submissive.

That doesn’t mean we can’t disagree or need to keep our mouths shut.

So, ladies, stand up…be leaders, and…rock our world.

“Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.” (Proverbs 31:25 KJV)

Homosexuality Is Natural, But Not Of God

The recent suicide of a young man who had everything to live for brings to mind the importance of loving others as ourselves, as God commands us to.

The college freshman had been secretly videotaped being intimate with another man. Then the video was made public. Horrified and humiliated by this, the man took his own life, unable to bear the shame of his personal life being put out there for all to see. (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/09/30/national/main6913514.shtml)

Yes, it’s true that homosexuality is an abomination before God. But…have you ever wondered why many people are, in fact, of this orientation?

The truth is…homosexuality is natural. Some are indeed born that way. Others may just be bored, curious, or fall to peer pressure.

People are born with a predilection towards homosexuality, as many are born with a predilection toward alcoholism…or drug abuse…or tendencies toward murder, or whatever.

And the truth is that all of these sins originated with the fall of man…in the garden of Eden. Which is one reason we are told by God to love our neighbors as ourselves and not to judge anyone.

One Kansas man, Fred W. Phelps, Sr., a pastor from Topeka, has developed a reputation for judging and harassing those guilty of the sin of homosexuality, something many have been predisposed to. But he is wrong about many things related thereto.

Many homosexuals do NOT want to be homosexuals. It is a daily struggle for them to try and appear or act “normal” in the eyes of society. They know it is a sin in the eyes of God, but they are unable to change. Again, this is because they were born this way.

Romans 3:23 states that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God…”, and Romans 3:10 says that “…there is none righteous, no, not one.”

Are we any different than those born as homosexuals? Or murderers? Or alcoholics?

The answer is no!

It is only through Christ’s changing power within us, when we accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior, that we are “re-gened” into a new creation, a new person.

Regeneration through Christ is key to being healed from all our sins.

The healing may be gradual, but it is inevitable.

“Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, lest you too be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1 KJV)
